The house is set on 8 acres of land which has a small creek running along its Northern boundary. Building is a challenge in this area because the climate is tropical and there is a lot of rain – the town of Babinda is considered the wettest place in Australia. The home is at Babinda, a small town about 40 minutes south of Cairns in Far North Queensland and is near the beautiful rainforest area known as the ‘Boulders’.
